Here the other long-soaked teasel head (now entirely odor-free after days in the sun) got a new fastening technique, a thin web of wool laid over the spines and forced down with the side of a needle; much more efficient than threading the whole head, though it wanted a couple of strips of wool along the rows for added stability.
