As of November 6, she was coming down the home stretch. The original regrettably lean and wicked look had called out for a fur coat... but the fur (made up of quarter-inch thick tufts applied one by one by one by...) mostly during meetings, train rides, and games to block the tedium, looked steadily more awful as the coat neared completion.
Here you see her poor scrawny head peering out of the enveloping blanket. The coat was finished on the 7th, then clipped – a process remarkably like shearing a sheep – on the 8th.
