Completed June 16, 2010. I’d just posted a pic of the then-new Salamander to a felting discussion website, and one of the members pointed out that long thin creatures like that could be made into necklaces by building them around thin strips of leather. I instantly tried out the idea with a bit of chain I had on hand, producing this little fellow, who went off as a thank-you to the woman who came up with the concept.
