Completed December 9, 2011, in pursuit of a creature that would appeal to a preschool child – and be play-worthy without posing a danger to either playmate. The Raccoon Ball is a solid wool structure with no hard bits, dense enough to bounce and soft enough to squeeze. (In fact, it'd make a good hand exerciser for a grown-up....)
