The first major revision wasn’t captured as an image. This lad was intended to be a wyvern (that is, two legs and two wings) version of the Pygmy Wasp Darter, but it was instantly clear that the teeth made the head too big for the sort of body that could be supported by the shibori silken wings.

So the rebuild was designed to accommodate the dentures.... And he wound up looking like a flying baboon. After the first of the two images captured here was taken, the whole top of the head was removed and moved forward along the upper jaw.
