Completed August 26, 2022, after endless futzing and a certain amount of re-engineering, this little owl is old enough to run around outside the nest but a week or so away from fledging. She stands firmly on a flat surface – especially if, as here, there’s enough steel underfoot to provide a purchase for her magnets.
