Want help securing your felted friend safely and comfortably? Here the Springtail Squirrel shows off three styles of wrapping a cord harness. These have the leash fastened to the creature’s throat, but they work equally well if you start at the back of the neck instead – it’s a matter of style, and your creature’s preference.

A chain harness works in much the same way, though if the links are wide enough, you can anchor the clasp through them for extra protection against slippage.
